2. Michael² Handley (Jeremiah¹) was born on 17 Oct 1787 at Loudoun County, Virginia. He married Rhoda L Rose, daughter of Jacob Rose and Mary (--?--), at Athens County, Ohio. He died in 1869 at Newton County, Indiana. He was buried at Morocco, Newton County, Indiana.
He appeared on the census of 2 Aug 1850. He appeared on the census of 24 Jul 1860.
Rhoda L Rose was born in 1797 at Greene County, Pennsylvania. She died on 9 Dec 1881 at Morocco, Newton County, Indiana. She was buried at Morocco, Newton County, Indiana. She appeared on the census of 9 Aug 1870.

    4  iv.   Chancey P. Handley was born on 11 Mar 1817 at Athens County, Ohio. He married Jane Milligan, daughter of John Milligan and Mary Groves, on 20 May 1842 at Athens County, Ohio. He died on 21 Jul 1875 at Council Grove, Morris County, Kansas, at age 58. He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Council Grove, Morris County, Kansas.

      v.   Samantha Handley was born circa 1819 at Ohio. She married William Snyder on 4 Nov 1860 at Newton County, Indiana. She married William Dougherty on 20 Jan 1873 at Jasper County, Indiana.
She appeared on the census of 9 Aug 1870.

    5  vi.   William R Handley was born on 18 Oct 1820 at Athens County, Ohio. He married Elizabeth Lambkin, daughter of William Lambkin and Rachel (--?--), on 28 Feb 1857 at Newton County, Indiana. He died on 8 Feb 1888 at Newton County, Indiana, at age 67. He was buried at Morocco, Newton County, Indiana.

    6  vii.   John Stiles Handley was born on 7 Sep 1825 at Athens County, Ohio. He married Lucretia Anna Leak, daughter of Hiram Leak and Henrietta Harris, on 11 Nov 1850 at Montgomery County, Indiana. He died on 31 Jul 1922 at Lorimor, Union County, Iowa, at age 96. He was buried in Aug 1922 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Afton, Union County, Iowa.

      viii.   Horace Handley was born circa 1829 at Ohio.
He was a Blacksmith in 1850.

    7  ix.   C. Morris Handley was born circa 1832 at Ohio. He married Mary Jane (--?--).

    8  x.   David Handley was born on 17 Oct 1835 at Athens County, Ohio. He married Mary Jane (--?--). He died on 12 Jul 1860 at Jackson Township, Newton County, Indiana, at age 24. He was buried at Morrocco, Newton County, Indiana.

    9  xi.   Ezra G. Handley was born in Apr 1839 at Athens County, Ohio. He married Nancy J. Bartholomew on 1 Dec 1867 at Newton County, Indiana. He died before 2 Jan 1920.

3. Jeremiah² Handley Jr (Jeremiah¹) was born in 1791 at Pennsylvania. He was born in 1791 at Ohio or Virginia. He married Permilia Burreus on 25 Jan 1815 at Washington County, Ohio. He died on 13 Nov 1863 at Hartford City, Blackford County, Indiana. He was buried at probably IOOF Cemetery, Hartford City, Indiana.

    11  ii.   Mary Ann Handley was born on 17 Jul 1819 at Ohio. She married Samuel Jasper Roberts on 3 May 1838 at Jay County, Indiana. She died on 28 Dec 1876 at Blackford County, Indiana, at age 57. She was buried at Old Wellman Cemetery, Blackford County, Indiana.

    12  iii.   George Washington Handley was born on 14 Dec 1822 at Guernsey County, Ohio. He married Sarah Hellyer on 16 Nov 1846 at Guernsey County, Ohio. He died on 7 Dec 1874 at Blackford County, Indiana, at age 51. He was buried at Old Hartford City Cemetery, Hartford City, Blackford County, Indiana.

      iv.   Jeremiah Handley was born in 1825 at Athens County, Ohio.

    13  v.   Columbus Burreus Handley was born on 10 Oct 1830 at Washington County, Ohio. He married Christian Prudence Burt on 24 May 1849 at Blackford County, Indiana. He died on 17 Apr 1862 at Mattoon, Coles County, Illinois, at age 31. He was buried at IOOF Cemetery, Hartford City, Blackford County, Indiana.

    14  vi.   Matilda Handley was born on 14 Jun 1835 at Guernsey County, Ohio. She married William Hellyer on 14 Jan 1858 at Hocking County, Ohio. She died on 20 Mar 1899 at Hocking County, Ohio, at age 63.

    15  vii.   Marquis De Lafayette Handley was born in Mar 1837 at Blackford County, Indiana. He married May Delilah James on 3 Jul 1859 at Blackford County, Indiana.
